Saturday afternoon, for the first time ever, ESPN's College GameDay show -- featuring Sam Ponder -- was broadcast live from Fargo.

It was a big deal up there, and a bunch of drunkards enthusiastic fans took to the streets in downtown Fargo to make their presence felt on national television.

But for better or worse, this sign might end up being what the occasion is best remembered for:

Is this Aaron Rupar some kind of Joke?  His writing or lack of it in this case is horrible.  Also, when he does write it's clear he's a lefty political hack.

If you're so detached from the simple pleasures of life that you can't laugh at what is by far the funniest bodily function, I will pray for you.

I bet this is yet another Aaron Rupar article. (It's sad when you can guess that without even bothering to click the link these days).

Sports people are the classiest people of all people.

The best GameDay sign was some Asian kid holding up a giant sign that just said 'I'M ASAIN' on it. Simple but classic. The main reason to watch GameDay is for the signs, why wouldn't they show this sign?

David because running on the field is actually a crime. Making a hilarious and original sign on the other hand..... don't be such a Buzz Killington

Don't you think it's in bad taste to encourage this kind of behavior by publicizing it? The sports channels discourage people from running onto the field by not showing them -- perhaps you should follow their lead.

It's funny I want to do that to Aaron Rupar's articles.

@Alex Anderson You're spot on. Who needs to report on actual events when you can just write up this description of a sign from a football game? Rupar is a joke.

@Alex Anderson What's 'sad' is your overwhelming desire for attention would lead you to comment on an article you didn't even read.

@David Gustafson sports are a fucking joke. grown men wearing the names of other grown men. allowing the outcome of a game spoil their day or week.

perhaps you should embrace something, believe in something - like a disgusting sex act with a knockout
