Greg Jennings turns heel on Green Bay, signs "Packers Suck" on Vikings helmet [PHOTO]

Jennings had nothing but love for Green Bay... until he got to Minnesota, apparently.
Days after he signed a five-year, $47.5 million contract with the Vikings in March, Greg Jennings took out a full-page ad in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

"Although the business side of this great game has brought about change, my family and I will be forever indebted to the Packers organizations and fans for giving us the opportunity to be part of an amazing culture," Jennings wrote. "Even when gone or simply far away, memories are like a strong emotion, they seem to somehow stay."

We get it, Greg: Roses are red, violets are blue, the Packers are great... those aren't exactly the words of somebody who bleeds purple and gold, right? But if the message Jennings recently inscribed onto a Vikings fan's helmet can be believed, he's turned over a new leaf since the spring.

You might think a Green Bay-hating Vikings fan simply added "Packers Suck" next to Jennings's signature, but that doesn't appear to be the case. A blog post on Wisconsin's TMJ 4 points out that the handwriting of the Packers diss in question is very similar to the handwriting on other memorabilia Jennings has signed.

So why the change of heart, Greg? Asked that question by Vikings reporters yesterday, Jennings didn't offer up much.

"Oh my gosh. I'm not even going to jump into that. I'll let that story be what it is. If you guys want to hype it. That doesn't have anything to do with football, does it?" he said.

For what it's worth, the Star Tribune reports that the fan whose helmet Jennings signed asked him to sign it with those specific words. And it should also be mentioned that Jennings raised eyebrows in late July with comments some interpreted as critical of Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

Anyway, what Jennings signs on helmets is one thing, but frankly, if I were an NFL receiver, I'd much rather play for a team quarterbacked by Aaron "Super Bowl champion and reigning NFC Player of the Week" Rodgers than one led by Christian "my wedding will be the first without a reception" Ponder. Just sayin'.

He is showing is true colors, a classless jerk.  Everything else is obviously an act.

It's football, you should trash talk your rivals. It's not like the Packers got him a super bowl ring or anything...

47.5 million dollars to catch a ball and run..This country has some serious bad priorities..Yet the owner of the team wants us to pay for the stadium..

Don't give Ponder so much credit. Adrian Peterson stole the show like he always does.

How many Minnesota Vikings does it take to win a Super Bowl? Nobody knows and we may never find out!

I'd overcompensate too if Christian Ponder were my QB. Way to stay classy Greg!

8 catches for 117 yards in two games and 0 touchdowns...

Now, let me take a look at some Packer receiver stats for this ye....oh. Oh my. Oh my Greg. Yeesh. This, this has got to hurt a little...Jeez, even Ham Hands James Jones has more catches...and he's getting paid, like, 5 million less per year to do it. Perhaps leadership is leading?

@ChazDanger @DavidFoureyes Not a stats man, aye Chaz. In your scenario, since there have been two games played, it would mean the Vikings are 100% worse than the Packers.

We got beat by the defending NFC champs away...you got beat by, let me look at my notes here...Jay Cutler. Not really apples to apples here.

@DavidFoureyes @ChazDanger We lost by 1 point the the Bears and they are Top 10 in the power rankings.  SF isn't what it was last year.  that's why it's called LAST year.  Good luck eating your words when you go 0-2 to the hated Bears.  Both our games were division rivals on the road.  Guess what, Your Packers will lose in the Metrodome this year.
