Obama mocks Michele Bachmann's worry that Obamacare "literally kills women"
|This isn't the first time Barack has made fun of Michele.|
"That's why we're here because we're saying let's repeal this failure before it literally kills women, kills children, kills senior citizens. Let's not do that! Let's love people, let's care about people. Let's repeal it now while we can." (See the video and read our commentary about it here.)

We'd pretty much forgotten all about that, given the dozens of preposterous statements Bachmann has made since then (along with her announcement that she won't be running for Congress again). But President Obama didn't forget.
During a speech yesterday in Maryland, Obama, without naming names, mocked and ridiculed Bachmann's worry that Obamacare could result in the systematic killing of women, children, and the elderly.
Here's what Obama said (via the Star Tribune):
I mean these are quotes. I am not making this stuff up. And here's one more that I've heard. I like this one. We have to, and I am quoting here. We have to 'repeal this failure before it literally kills women, kills children, kills senior citizens.' Now I have to say that that one was from six months ago. I just want to point out that we still have women. We still have children, and we still have senior citizens.Indeed we do. But it should be noted that Obamacare's health insurance marketplaces don't roll out until October 1, and Americans aren't required to have some sort of health care (or face a fine) until next year. In other words, according to Bachmann's logic, women, children, and senior citizens aren't out of the woods yet!
