Pedal Pub haters will not let Facebook keep them down

- Facebook removes "I Hate the Pedal Pub" page after Pedal Pub's lawyer complains
Don't be fooled by the page's title: there's no lost love here. The new page, which has attracted 305 "likes" in its 15 hours online, borrowed some of the images and materials from the old "IHTPP" page, and is going heavy on the sarcasm.
"Yeah. Pedal Pub is SO awesome," its "about" section explains.
Matt Peterson, creator of the original "IHTPP" page, says that he isn't behind this latest incarnation. He does, though, have advice to the new page's creators on how to keep it up: don't sell anything. His latest update from Facebook is that the site's main reason for removing "IHTPP" was because Peterson was selling t-shirts and stickers through it -- though Peterson clarifies that he never profited from those sales.
Peterson says that he has too many other things going on right now to pursue getting the "IHTPP" page back online. Of course, "IHTPP" wasn't just a Facebook page. Peterson and his partners and fellow "haters" documented complaints about the pubs, created "Neighbors Against Pedal Pub" yard signs, and worked with city license inspectors.
No word yet on whether "Oh, I totally love Pedal Pub," or the original "IHTPP" crew, will carry that torch.
