Sam Ponder not happy with report about Christian's home being for sale

Christian Ponder's tenure as Vikings quarterback is likely to come to a close no later than the end of this season, so you can imagine what people started thinking when they read this tweet from Star Tribune sports columnist Chip Scoggins: Indeed, Ponder's $1.095 million home -- featuring five bedrooms, eight bathrooms, tennis courts, an exercise room, a hot tub, and boat dock access -- is for sale. But after Scoggins broke the news, Christian's lovely wife Sam took to Twitter to take umbrage with Scoggins's reporting.

In June, of course, it still looked like the Ponders would be here for the long haul, as Christian appeared entrenched as the Vikings quarterback of the future. But then his season got off to an uninspiring start, the Purple benched him and signed Josh Freeman, and now, who knows where the couple will find themselves next year?

According to the Star Tribune, Christian bought the Tonka Bay home in July 2012, about five months before his out-of-the-blue marriage to Sam.

Here, via Coldwell Banker Burnet, are a couple photos of the home Christian is selling:
