Sam Ponder not happy with report about Christian's home being for sale

Christian Ponder's tenure as Vikings quarterback is likely to come to a close no later than the end of this season, so you can imagine what people started thinking when they read this tweet from Star Tribune sports columnist Chip Scoggins: Indeed, Ponder's $1.095 million home -- featuring five bedrooms, eight bathrooms, tennis courts, an exercise room, a hot tub, and boat dock access -- is for sale. But after Scoggins broke the news, Christian's lovely wife Sam took to Twitter to take umbrage with Scoggins's reporting.

In June, of course, it still looked like the Ponders would be here for the long haul, as Christian appeared entrenched as the Vikings quarterback of the future. But then his season got off to an uninspiring start, the Purple benched him and signed Josh Freeman, and now, who knows where the couple will find themselves next year?

According to the Star Tribune, Christian bought the Tonka Bay home in July 2012, about five months before his out-of-the-blue marriage to Sam.

Here, via Coldwell Banker Burnet, are a couple photos of the home Christian is selling:

The Omaha Beef await Ponder's application.

Many kids seem to want to be quarterbacks, but from here it doesn't look like a whole lot of fun. Peyton Manning has had so many neck surgeries his head is probably just going to come off during a game, and Christian Ponder gets lit up in the media on a daily basis.

He'd better save his $$$ because he'll be out of the NFL or a back up at best when this contract expires. That said, Vikings are in trouble for the next few years at least. Go Bears!

No offense to Mrs. Ponder - who is seemingly always unhappy that her and her husband are millionaire's that will always get press, (good and bad), but what did you expect? Go Wolves!

Go fuck yourself, Ponder. And take your wife with you. Your destiny is to be a nothing. Retire and start making babies and save football fans the displeasure of having to watch your sorry ass.

@Lisa Andrews She's a nationally known sports reporter who gets to travel all over the country, while probably making 6 figures. What do YOU do?

@Stuttering John Yep, because the only reason a woman would marry a man with money is so she can take it all, right?

@Soleil Morgan Kim Kardashian is famous because everyone has seen her vagina. Sam Ponder is nationally known for being a sports reporter. They...aren't the same thing at all, I'm sorry to tell you.

@Jason Gabbert They pay a pretty hefty property tax, income tax, sales tax ect.   So they do contribute a lot to society mainly to Lazy Democrat Constituent Moochers who are paid not to work and collect bennies.

@Jason Gabbert I know, they don't even troll pro athletes on websites with idiotic comments. They are just wasting their lives!

@Jason Gabbert Are you for real? What could he have possibly done to you to warrant such a scathing attack on him? We're all human here you know. It's attitudes like yours that are responsible for many of the problems in the world today.

@ajlalk3 No, that's not true - she'll just take half.

@JohnSmith Jason Gabbert relies on football and the Vikings to make him happy, because he hates the rest of his miserable life. Tearing down pro athletes who will always have more money, and be more successful in every single aspect of their lives than him, is one of the rare things he can do to make himself feel superior to them.
