Minneapolis is one of the best places to visit in your 20s, HuffPo says

Give us your tiredless, your poor, your huddled millennials yearning to breathe free
Finally, a travel list for the underprivileged. Well, sort of.

HuffPo has included Minneapolis on its list of "20 Awesome U.S. Cities You Need To Visit In Your 20s" with an emphasis, of course, on "the cash-strapped, adventure-seeking, microbrewed-beer loving, locavore millennial."

Those perimeters would seem to exclude at least two places, namely Honolulu and Anchorage, but the rest of the list is sound. In addition to a couple obvious choices -- Austin and New Orleans -- it includes some of America's hidden gems like Missoula, Montana, and Burlington, Vermont. Depending your preference for binge drinking, Omaha, Nebraska, is either the best or worst place to booze.

It's unclear, however, whether the authors have ever visited Minneapolis or whether they were simply short on space.

The city got a tip of the hat for being bike-friendly, healthy and committed to our parks. But the authors refer generally to our "tons of restaurants, museums, performing arts and the University of Minnesota. Plus, everyone's really nice."

No complaints here. We'll take it either way.

Everyone I have run across from the twin cities has only had amazing things to say about the area overall.

"Let's go vacation in Minneapolis this year!"

If you don't like where you live, try another neighborhood. Or improve the neighborhood in which you live.

Minneapolis is a great place to visit or live at any age. Lots of wonderful things to do. I just don't like the cold winters so much!
