Why did no one help Mark Andrew when he was mugged?
After reading the horrific story of Mark Andrew's brutal mugging at Starbucks for his iPhone, a reader asks a plaintive question in a Letter to the Editor:
I am a 65 yr old woman with a walking cane and if I had been near the beating site of Mr. Andrews at Starbucks at the MOA I like to believe I would have gotten in there with my cane and/or at least pulled the girls'hair to help him until the Security guards could arrive. How lonely, forlorn and helpless victims are when no one will step forward. Are we like NYC where women can be screaming 'rape' and people just hurry by or close their windows. How can you live with yourselves?
