Video of a wild turkey chasing around a UPS driver while a bunch of hospital employees laugh their asses off is going viral, as the clip, posted to YouTube on Tuesday, was already closing in on 100,000 views this morning.

The scary part is the health care workers in scrubs -some with hair coverings as though they came in from surgery -in the lunch room........who knows what they are spreading amongst themselves to pass on to the patients.

Isn't that a FedEx truck? Oh...at the end of the video the man gets into a UPS truck parked behind the FedEx truck.

Yep, up in Mpls we do have gangs of urban turkeys who hang out east of Central Ave if you newbies didn't know and I've had to cross the street or barrel down a bike trail hoping they'd stay far enough away to let me pass quickly. Seriously, stay far away and don't fuck with these guys.

What's awesome is that my husband works for UPS and I work for FedEx, and we both saw this and commented, "HE'S FED UP!" (get it?) I know. So clever.

Hi My name is Tim, I'm a huge dooooosh!

I like to make witty rhetorical comments on subjects that I have no knowledge or experience in. I think break rooms or breaks for lunch in general are just a waste of taxpayer money. Even when the taxpayer has nothing to do with it. It's just a waste of GD money! I popped 3 effing collars to this thread Bro! 3...

Serves him right, the UPS buy hijacking the FedEx truck ought to be a no-no even for turkeys ...

Seriously, you meant to tell me that this would not make you stop and watch? I bet you were sitting at work when you looked at this on FACEBOOK, Tim. Sheesh. Everyone deserves a moment of laughter.

@birdchick A big Jake hung out near the Law School the past 2 yrs. Imposing (gone, now). Perched on a trash bin; gazed into the cafeteria.

This is why Benjamin Franklin wanted the Wild Turkey as our national symbol -- they are one tough bird who goes after anything interfering with them or their domain. A couple of years ago, a Highway Patrolman got out of his car to "schoo" away two birds who were nesting on a cloverleaf exchange. One of the birds went after him and chased him back to his patrol car. Then, with the officer safe inside, the bird hopped up on the car and started pecking at the windows and door jams. The officer finally figured out that the bird was looking for a way in. He finally drove off and sent some conservation officers to capture the birds and move them.

@OkToPrint My dad had 2 "pet" turkeys when I was a kid. One would corner me against the house or car & was taller than me. Don't like them.

@KayKirscht When they get uppity like this, the DNR usually “takes care of them.”

@RedSofaLiterary We had one laying eggs by our front door, but she gave up & abandoned them. Not a good spot. They have little brains.

@RedSofaLiterary Our neighborhood turkeys attack my kids at the bus stop sometimes. It's a good life lesson for them though, the kids.

@openfly @clothbot Thanksgiving would be completely different if you gave the kids a hatchet & armor they had to do battle with a turkey.

@openfly @johnbaichtal the irony here is that turkeys were (re)introduced in the 80s for hunting but the tags+methods are too expensive.
