Al Franken missed Obama's speech for Harold Ramis's funeral
But on Monday morning, his good pal Harold Ramis passed away, and Al instead spent yesterday in Chicago for Ramis's funeral.
Here's what Al had to say about Harold on Twitter:
Ramis, perhaps best known for his role in the Ghostbusters films, died at 69 from complications associated with autoimmune inflammatory vasculitis. Franken starred in his 1995 film, Stuart Saves His Family.
Everyone who knew Harold, loved Harold. He was a brilliant writer, hilarious comedic actor, influential director, & wise, loving friend. -Al-- Al Franken (@alfranken) February 24, 2014
Here's the trailer:
What a difference 19 years has made for Franken, right?
