Michele Bachmann stirs both racial and gender controversy... in one quote

In one quote alone, Bachmann managed to stoke both racial and gender controversy by saying that on one hand, Barack Obama was elected president because he's black, but on the other, Hillary Clinton, as a woman, won't benefit from the same "guilt."
Here's the relevant excerpt from Thomas's column:
Bachmann says a lot of people "aren't ready" for a female president. "I think there was a cachet about having an African-American president because of guilt." (Presumably she means because of slavery and the lengthy denial of civil rights to blacks.) "People don't hold guilt for a woman," she says, adding that while people vote for women for virtually every other office "I don't think there is a pent-up desire" for a woman president.Race and gender aside, Bachmann does think there's a good political reason Hillary will have trouble in 2016. Bachmann historians will probably be able to guess what it is, but if you need a couple hints, consider that it's one of Michele's favorite words and it kinda sorta rhymes with kamikaze.
"She has a real problem when it comes to Benghazi," Bachmann told Thomas. "She was in charge during the Benghazi debacle. If a person reads the Senate Intelligence report and the House Foreign Affairs report released [last] week, it is damning for Hillary Clinton."
And oh yeah, Bachmann also called Hillary "the godmother of Obamacare" and said her presidency would amount to "Obama's third and fourth term in office."
Hillary may be the godmother of Obamacare, but Michele is certainly the godmother of the blogable quote. Not having a Bachmann campaign to write about this year will leave a void, but whether she's running for office or not, we get the sense Michele won't be shy about sharing her always colorful opinions about American politics, Miley Cyrus, fast food, or anything else.
