T-Wolves Podcast, episode 3: On Shabazz and silver linings [AUDIO]
|Flea was right!|
But in this episode of the T-Wolves Podcast, yours truly and fellow diehard T-Pups fan William Davis (of AM950 fame) try to focus on the positive. Like, you know, the fact that tomorrow night in Sacramento, the team will play its first meaningful March game in nine freakin' years. Or that following his breakout performance during a must-have win in Phoenix, it looks like they might actually have something in rookie Shabazz Muhammad. Or the reality that with the Pups about to enter a stretch where they play eight losing teams in a row, they probably won't be underdogs again until March 19.
Of course, with the Wolves still under .500 and out of the playoff picture, we can't be all positive. So Will and I also spend some time breaking down how worried fans should be about the possibility soon-to-be Western Conference Player of the Month Kevin Love might not be long for Minnesota, and wonder aloud what the hell coach Rick Adelman has been thinking in keeping Shabazz strapped to the pine while his bench has been in dire need of just the sort of spark Muhammad provided in Phoenix.
Without further ado, here's the audio:
