While the end of the game was exciting, most of what came before Coffey's buzzer beater was not. Without a shot clock to compel them to shoot -- there is no shot clock in Minnesota high school basketball -- the teams combined for zero points during the first two overtime periods and essentially played an extended game of keep away.
That's not entertaining, but something tells us Hopkins fans aren't complaining this morning.
