Lynx jerseys now say "Mayo Clinic" across chest [IMAGE]

That's not the case in the WNBA, where today the Lynx became the sixth team to emblazon its jerseys with an advertiser's logo.
The Lynx's unis will now read "Mayo Clinic" across the chest. In fact, the only thing on the front of them that's not an advertisement (other than player numbers) is the tiny Lynx logo on the shoulder.
Here's another look:the Timberwolves and Lynx announced a partnership with Mayo that includes new practice facilities in "Mayo Clinic Square." A Mayo sports medicine clinic is also planned as part of the $50 million redevelopment of the former Block E property.
We look forward to that project being completed next year, but it's a bit unfortunate the Lynx's jerseys were converted into billboards along the way.
