"Rock n' Roll" Zumhofe allegedly bolted after he was convicted of sexually abusing his daughter

THE BACKSTORY: Zumhofe allegedly sexually abused his daughter between 1999 and 2011
Zumhofe, 62, will be sentenced today. He'll likely spend the rest of his life behind bars. But just after the verdict came down, he allegedly made one last dash for freedom.
Last night, a tipster got in touch to let us know Zumhofe tried to flee the courtroom after the verdict was read. That's corroborated by Kandiyohi County's jail log, which indicates a charge of "escape from custody" has been added to the list of Zumhofe's sex felonies.
Further corroboration comes from Sally Jo Sorensen's Bluestem Prairie blog. She cites Facebook chatter indicating Zumhofe, who was cut loose from the Minneapolis-based American Wrestling Association in 1989 when he was convicted of criminal sexual conduct, tried to bolt from a courtroom bathroom, but was tackled.
During the trial, Zumhofe acknowledged sleeping with his daughter but said their relationship was never sexual. He was contradicted, however, but a number of witnesses who testified they suspected Zumhofe's relationship with his daughter was inappropriate.
