Police arriving at the scene following a report of shots fired found three adult male victims, two with non-life threatening injuries and another that had more serious injuries but is expected to live, Minneapolis Police Department spokesman John Elder told us.
Rep. Tony Cornish blames "liberal media" for hyping unrest following Trayvon Martin verdict
The shooting happened outside. Two of the victims ran to neighboring residences seeking help, while a third ended up in a vehicle.
"We don't know if the vehicle was where the person went to take shelter or if that's where they were shot," Elder says.
ShotSpotter detected 16 shots fired in total, Police Clips reports.
Elder says police "have no reason to believe that this is random."
Asked how often triple shootings occur, Elder says, "It's infrequent... maybe once or twice a year."
