Comment of the Day: Thanks, Obamacare [VIDEO]

obamaMcFadden.jpg
Obama wants McFadden's campaign staffers to have insurance. McFadden, on the other hand, is fine with home doctoring.
Mike McFadden vows to try and take out Obamacare if he defeats Al Franken and is elected U.S. Senator.

We're sure that's music to the ears of many of McFadden's fellow Republicans, but it might not sound quite as nice to his campaign employees, who, in an ironic twist, rely on MNsure (Minnesota's version of Obamacare) for their health insurance.

That's because, as we reported yesterday, McFadden doesn't offer his campaign staffers insurance. Al Franken, by contrast, does.

That news prompted today's top comment from henk.tobias0:

Maybe McFadden is okay with his employees not having insurance. After all, in a recent ad, he made a big deal about how he once took out his son's stitches with his own hands because he was too cheap to take him to the doctor. Watch the former co-CEO of an investment bank tell the story himself:

That spot should probably come with a "don't try this at home" disclaimer!

I read the article, thought about it=jerkoff. It is in fact quite logical, in my opinion. Which everyone is allowed to have. Eloquent, wasn't meant to be. I was in no way trying to sway anyone. Your pretentiousness and sad attempt at sarcasm lead me to believe you're probably also a...nah, not worth it. Have fun trolling people's opinions! Yay! Good fun!!

I have to say that your well thought out, logical and eloquent argument has swayed me to your opinion.

Mickey Mouse? What does Mickey Mouse have to do with it?

Fun fact: McFadden does his own visual colonoscopies too. Still, he blames Obama for the smell, after shoving his head up his own ..........

Basically, since McFadden was able to take out his son’s stitches and lived, success. Therefore people don’t need insurance. I am happy that our health care system develops more thorough outcomes than "the patient lived".

So, instead of trying to get something done, he will bang his head against a wall for his entire term?

Obamacare pretty much makes it so that a business owner would have to be STUPID to offer healthcare insurance to their employees. It subsidizes insurance by most individuals and punishes insurance purchased by business. I'm a business owner and I went from my business supplying insurance for most of my employees and my family to giving them raises to purchase their own insurance and having the State decide that half of my family was eligible for "free" healthcare from the State.

No need for Obamacare, you can take care of your medical needs at home...Like MM.

So if he gets elected he's gonna try and bring the number of repeal votes up to...what...1000?? I don't care WHAT party he's in, he's an idiot. The definition of crazy is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results...I'd say this part of his platform oozes crazy.

Wait... who doesn't take their own stitches out?

It's like plucking eyebrows but nowhere near as painful

"do as I say, not as I do" does seem to be the motto of many republicans.
