The Minneapolis skyline as seen from the North Side.
Yesterday, we told you about the heat Minneapolis Mayor Betsy Hodges is taking for a tweet she published the same morning as a North Side triple shooting.

Some think the tweet was flippant and reflects an indifference to the problems of north Minneapolis. But as commenter Stephen Young exemplifies with the following comment, there's a whole lot more to the story than a single 140-character post.

That's absolutely true, even if the anger expressed by many in response to Hodges's tweet does reflect frustration toward all levels of government and its seeming inability to do much about the issues have long afflicted the North Side.

Necessity and unnecessary. Doing other things is fine but sometime be quiet is better.

I thought that was the smartest thing in the comment section yesterday.   Still I understand why people are mad.   Crime sucks.  Especially when its in your neighborhood.
