A short time later, a woman carrying a "Don't Shoot" sign who participated in the vigil was arrested on the street by the Minneapolis Police Department for reasons that remain unclear, prompting a protest outside the MPD's 4th Precinct headquarters.

Here's another video of the immediate aftermath:
And here's another video, this one suggesting the woman, who uses the name Brittany Brisofancy on Facebook, was arrested was for jaywalking:
The person who posted that video, Jack Moore, writes that when cops were asked what the woman was arrested for, they didn't offer an explanation, but said they "had to look into it."
Whatever the reason, Brittany's arrest converted the vigil into a protest:

But police de-escalated the situation by releasing Brittany and then ripping up her ticket:

With her ordeal through, Brittany struck a defiant note:

While others drew conclusions that don't reflect well on the MPD:
Shortly after Brittany's arrest, we got in touch with MPD spokesman John Elder seeking more information. He told us he'd send us the police report this morning. We haven't heard back as this is published, though it's unclear what public records are available since Brittany's ticket was ripped up.
