Larry Craig says sex fiasco was gov't business, wants to pay legal bills with campaign cash

Craig has spent more than $200,000 contesting a misdemeanor charge he pleaded guilty to. Not exactly the paradigm of fiscal responsibility!
Folks gave dough to GOP Sen. Larry Craig because they believed in his politics and wanted to help continue his career in the U.S. Senate. Instead, they might end up paying lawyers to argue that Craig really does have one of the widest bathroom stall stances known to man.

Craig wants to use campaign funds to foot the bill for the $216,000 he's spent trying to get the misdemeanor charge he pleaded guilty to in August 2007 removed from his record. But during a hearing before in U.S. District Court yesterday, Judge Amy Berman Jackson sounded less than persuaded by the reasoning Craig and his counsel are employing.

Mpls Hilton female boss bragged about '50 states club,' sexually harassed men, suit alleges

hilton mpls.jpg
50 states club, eh? Alaska might be tough. West Virginia too.
Two Hilton Minneapolis bartenders -- Paul Welter, 41, and Joshua Brehmer, 24 -- say their former boss, Danielle Rodgers, "approximately 29," sexually harassed them and created an uncomfortable, sexually super-charged atmosphere at work in a recently filed sex-discrimination suit.

SEE ALSO: Five reasons why the Hilton Orgy story isn't just about prurient interests

Welter and Brehmer allege Rodgers openly bragged about her goal of cracking the '50 states club,' which means she wanted to sleep with a resident from every state in the union. That's how STDs get spread around, folks.

Winona County wants porn-free hotels for workers

Winona County employees can wave bye-bye to Serra Paylin.
This is looking like a grim week for smut. First, Craigslist takes down its "adult services" tab. And now we learn that there's going to be no more on-the-job hotel Skinemax for Winona County workers.

It's employees will be denied reimbursement for their work-related hotel stays unless they can show that the room did not offer adult movies. The language of the resolution says it will make the county a "leader" in preventing sexual violence, by "not utilizing businesses that provide services such as in-room, adult pay-per-view."

Larry Craig airport bathroom sex still hilarious on the The Daily Show

larrycraigdailyshow.jpg
Remember the greatest moment in Minneapolis-St. Paul International airport history? Who doesn't?! In 2007, then-Sen. Larry Craig of Idaho was arrested in the airport after soliciting sex in the men's bathroom with the infamous wide stance and foot tap. He pled guilty hoping it would make the incident disappear, but when reporters got a hold of the dirt, his solicitations went viral. The St. Paul Saints even made a "bobblefoot" doll for fans to celebrate.

So much for the fallout from that sticky Hilton orgy. According to court papers, Deborah Smith and April Bezdichek have settled their lawsuits against the company and one of its managers after they walked in on a big ol' sex party for Hilton executives at its Minneapolis property in 2007.

From Bezdichek's complaint:

After she came into the room, Defendant Manager Vennewitz pulled her onto his lap and pumped her up and down on his erect penis. He told her how good it felt and tried to physically force her up to a hotel room.

From Smith's complaint:

When Smith opened the door to the banquet room, she saw various Hilton executives inebriated and engaging in sexual acts. In fact, she observed Hilton executives on top of a table engaging in sexual activity.

If former NFL quarterback Steve McNair weren't already dead, he'd probably wish he was, given all of the sordid details of his extramarital love life getting dredged up lately. Now the tragic national story has a local angle, with an article in the New York Daily News that quotes an anonymous Minneapolis strip club business manager saying that McNair had a long-running affair with a local lap dancer. The juicy bits:

Hilton Hotels video game: Does it include virtual orgy?

hiltonvirtualorgy.jpg

Normally when a company makes a video game about running their own business it's a total snooze, but when we got news of the new Hilton Garden Inn video game, we couldn't keep it in our pants. The company developed a training game for Sony's PlayStation Portable Platform where employees can pretend to deal with real life issues. Players take on routine hotel roles including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance and food service.

After the string of lawsuits at the Minneapolis Hilton accusing employees of hosting a hot-and-heavy orgy in one of their banquet rooms, we couldn't help but wonder: Does the game simulate virtual orgies? The game is named ULTIMATE TEAM PLAY (their capitalization, not ours) after all.

Larry Craig ends legal fight, accepts lifetime of bathroom sex jokes

larrycraigmug.jpg

Former Sen. Larry Craig will not pursue further legal action to have his bathroom sex sting conviction voided by the Minnesota Supreme Court, according to the Associated Press

While his lawyer claims they chose not to appeal again because the Minnesota Supreme Court isn't likely to review the case, we'd like to imagine that Craig has come to terms with his sexual desires and has decided to live with his decision to do a little too much foot tapping in the men's bathroom. Wide stances can only reach so far, my friends.
