Brock Lesnar transitioned to a triangle choke to tap out Shane Carwin.
Brock Lesnar survived some vicious ground and pound from Shane Carwin in the first round only to come back in the second and choke out the challenger to become the undisputed heavyweight champion of the UFC.

Lesnar looked mortal as he was bloodied by the heavy-handed Carwin, and referee Josh Rosenthal would have been justified in stopping the fight. But Lesnar weathered the storm and by round two, it was clear Carwin was arm-weary and had punched himself out.

Which doesn't take anything away from Lesnar's prowess in mounting Carwin and  expertly applying a triangle choke, cranking like a clock until Carwin was forced to tap.

Brock Lesnar vs. Shane Carwin UFC 116 poster released

This will be one BIG event.
Heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar makes his return to the Octagon on July 3 after a long and winding road of health problems ultimately diagnosed as diverticulitis.

Lesnar faces a stiff test in challenger Shane Carwin, a massive slab of a man with one-punch knockout power. Carwin became "interim" UFC Heavyweight Champion during Brock's convalescence, which is why both men have belts over their shoulders. This fight will unite the Heavyweight title and produce the undisputed champ.

Picture two giant elk butting heads, and you have a pretty good idea of what to expect. The UFC better get Big John McCarthy to referee because I don't know anyone else who could possible wrangle these two monsters.
