Arkansas mother gives birth to 16th child

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - Michelle Duggar just delivered her 16th child, and she's already thinking about doing it again. Arkansans loves them their marital sex, that's for sure. Husband Jim Bob, yes... it's Jim Bob, a former state representative, stated, "We both just love children and we consider each a blessing from the Lord. I have asked Michelle if she wants more and she said yes, if the Lord wants to give us some she will accept them." See, Jim Bob, can I call you Jim Bob? Of course I can, because it's your first, or first and middle names. Jim Bob, the Lord doesn't "give you" babies like he's handing out submarine sandwich coupons as you exit a baseball game, you actually impregnate your wife when you have sexual relations with her and don't use a condom. Maybe you should at least vaguely pass that info along to the four of your 16 kids that are now old enough for the Lord to "give them" babies.

I don't understand why you all feel the need to attack this wonderful family. They are a close knit Christian family who understand each child is a blessing from God (which they are!) They are not on welfare. They are paying for their children on their own, so why do you feel the need to put them down and ridicule them? As for three of their children being old enough to get pregnant, that may be, but I'm 110% sure they were raised in the Christian understanding that premarital sex is a sin and therefore should not be done. Wouldn't it be wonderful if all kids were raised this way?!?! It would bring the teen pregnancy problem and sexually transmitted disease problem to a screeching halt in this country. Please don't say that's not a realistic view in this day and age, because obviously EVERYBODY is having sex. NOT! It can happen. People CHOOSE to have premarital sex and then expect the whole country to sympathize (to say nothing about financially pay) for their 'bad luck'. My husband and I raised three kids who are normal healthy young adults now in their mid/late teens and they have never considered going to bed with someone, never did drugs, or any of the other 'normal' problems teens go through. It's not luck that caused this. It was mostly due to raising them in a God fearing home that wasn't afraid to discipline when needed, not allowing them to stay out til all hours of the night, not allowing them to run around wherever whenever and with whoever they wanted to. Knowing where they were at all times, and what they were doing. God tells us to raise our children up in the way they should go and when they are old, they will not depart from it. It doesn't say they won't make mistakes or fall away for a time, but it does say they will come back to it when they are older. You can put my post down all you want, you can say all kinds of hateful things that will temporarily make you feel you are better than me. But in the quiet moments when you have time to ponder this again, perhaps then you can see the honest to goodness true benefits of being a Christian and raising your children according to God's rules. I know you can throw a half dozen or so occurances when 'Chrisitan' parents sexually abused their children, or brutally beat them. In this case this is misguided parents who are going under the banner of being a Christian. Just because they claim to be a Christian doesn't make them so. Their actions speak louder than their words. In those type of cases, you are'nt truly dealing with true followers of Jesus Christ (Which is what a Christian is). I have no intention of getting into an online argument with anybody here, therefore I don't plan on watching this thread. I've spoken my mind which is one of my rights as it is yours as well.
