Yours truly joined a few dozen other jolly, old elves for a Santa Pub Crawl through Northeast Minneapolis last weekend. Click on the photo to spot the reindeer, the Santa pimp, and even Mr. Grinch.

Minnesota ex-pat Rex Sorgatz, purveyor of pop culture factoids and emerging online trends at his blog Fimoculous, has compiled the Best Blogs of 2006 that You (Maybe) Aren't Reading—thirty notable blogs that find themselves in the online version of the witness protection program. I was surprised and happy to see my other blog, Corpus Obscurum, saluting those whose accomplishments far exceeded their fame, ranked #5 on the list that also includes Cute Overload, Metafilter, and Starbucks Gossip. My compliments to Mr. Sorgatz for the acknowledgment and the page views.
