Bye, Bye, Miss American Idle

After four years, I'm leaving City Pages and closing up shop on American Idle. Much thanks to those who stopped by. A very special takk to Mark Gisleson at Norwegianity for endlessly sending new readers my way. A tip of the hat to Wonkette, Defamer, Raw Story, Atrios, Talking Points Memo, and others who linked to my work.

My pop culture sensibilities wouldn't be sated unless I ended with the closest thing to a montage. Maybe hum "Time of Your Life" by Green Day or Jeff Buckley's version of "Hallelujah" or something...
