If we had all the space and time in the world we would never stop typing, so after the jump we have tons of great stuff that didn't make the print edition. Check out our expanded list of MN Fashion Week events, popular dance parties, and other events worthy of your time and dollar.

FRIDAY, APRIL 16:

MN Fashion Week: 10th Annual Garage Sale
(Textile Center/Weavers Guild of Minnesota, 3000 University Ave., Minneapolis, 612.436.0464, www.textilecentermn.org)

Are you itching to put that sewing machine to good use? Do you have a project mapped out, but haven't found the right fabric to use as your canvas? Or do you prefer to let the material spark your creativity? Then this is the garage sale for you. Friday night's party kicks off the weekend festivities, and $25 gets you first dibs on threads. There will be live music and refreshments as well, with all proceeds going towards programs at the center. Saturday the admittance fee is $1 and gets you access to the stacks of yarn, fabric, and other supplies that will make your DIY wardrobe completely fabulous. 6:30-8:30 p.m. Friday; 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday.

Wants vs. Needs
(Clubhouse Jager, 923 Washington Ave. N., Minneapolis, 612.332.2686)

This super-popular dance night hits hard once again with their first show since their return from SXSW. DJs Espada, Petey Wheatstraw, So Gold, and Anton will have you dancing until your feet fall off (or at least until you need another cocktail, which there will be plenty of as well). They'll be giving away limited edition T-shirts by local graphic design/illustrator Adam Garcia of the Pressure, so get there early (we hear they're being distributed via lottery). 21+. 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.

SATURDAY, APRIL 17

Gypsy Punk Circus Showcase
(Intermedia Arts, 2822 Lyndale Ave. S., Minneapolis, 612.871.4444, www.intermediaarts.org)

This evening of debauchery includes talented performers both local and from far away. A little exotic, a little rock 'n' roll, a little counterculture, and a heavy dose of circus, performances include fusion belly dance, vaudeville acts, and live music by the Brass Messengers. Combat boots recommended. $10/$15 at the door. 8 p.m.

Art-o-Mat Swap Meet
(The Chambers Hotel, 901 Hennepin Ave., Minneapolis, 612.767.6900)

Never heard of an Art-o-Mat? This nifty machine is an old cigarette vending machine converted to sell art. Rather than receiving smokes, $5 gets you pocket-sized pieces that are not only affordable to collect, but also great conversation starters. This weekend, Art-o-Mat creator Clark Whittington will be in town to host a swap meet where artists and collectors are invited to trade, view, and discuss their work. Fun fact: The Art-o-Mat at the Chambers is one of Whittington's most popular gallery machines, selling up to 500 pieces per month. Free. 1-4:30 p.m.

331 Drinking Spelling Bee
(331 Club, 331 13th Ave. NE, Minneapolis, 612.331.1746)

Who said that spelling bee's were only for kids? Okay, most people will probably say this. However, that doesn't mean you can't earn bonus points at this bar event for remembering how to spell antidisestablishmentarianism while tanked. To enter, slap down $6. In return, you'll get a word to spell, and a beer. Spellers get a drink ticket for each word spelled correctly. The last person standing and spelling gets a $25 bar tab. This week's celebrity judge is the Current's Steve Seel. 21+. $6 entry fee. 7 p.m.

Earth Day Celebration
(Midtown Global Market, 920 E. Lake St., Minneapolis, 612.872.4041, midtownglobalmarket.com)

This weekend the Midtown Global Market goes green for Earth Day. There will be a little of everything for varying interests and ages, including sustainable cooking demonstrations, a children's planting activity, bike tune-up demonstrations, an eco-friendly fashion show, live music, and an Art Car display on Lake Street. Free. 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

TUESDAY, APRIL 20

Sister Spit
(Bedlam Theater, 1501 S. 6th St., Minneapolis, 612.341.1038, www.bedlamtheatre.org)

This party at the Bedlam Theater should crazy fun as the celebration plans to hit every letter of LGBT with fierceness. Featured performers include filmmaker Silas Howard, graphic novelist and activist Elisha Lim, slam-poet Lenelle Moise, trans psychic memoirist Len Plass, zinester Nicole J. Georges, and Annie Danger (who is rumored to love Power Point presentations). $10. 7 p.m.

MN Fashion Week: Scenes From Alice in Wonderland
(Dancing Ganesha, 1100 Harmon Pl., Minneapolis, 612.338.1877, dancingganesharestaurant.com)

This is not your typical dinner theater. Rather than chowing down on Salisbury steak and mashed potatoes during cheesy theater dated circa 1940, guests will be invited to enjoy contemporary Indian treats and trippy theater featuring scenes from Alice in Wonderland presented by Urban Rainment. In addition, performances will also include dance, live music, and, of course, fashion. 18+. Call for reservations. 7 p.m.
