Regina Taylor trilogy gets first peek at Playwrights' Center

The Playwrights' Center is partnering up with the Goodman Theatre in presenting staged readings of a new trilogy of works by Regina Taylor called The Trinity River Plays. The readings, which are free and open to the public, take place tonight and tomorrow night. All three plays will be read each evening. 

The plays are called Rain, Jarfly, and Ghoststory, and are the latest in a prolific career. Taylor's works have included Oo-Bla-Dee and Crowns, as well as an adaptation of Chekhov called Drowning Crow. She's also an accomplished stage, film, and TV actress.
