It's time once again for one of Minneapolis's most epic garage sale.
It's going on as we speak and will go through Saturday.
Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. over 100 locations will be selling their awesome finds, their cheap deals, and their junk. Items range from clothing to home decor to magazines that time forgot. Bring a group, or your friend with the biggest trunk. In past years we've scored a cool bed headboard, a vintage cocktail ring, a Fleetwood Mac 8-track, and hilarious magazines from the '60s and '70s (looking at the first Honda ad never gets old).
Maps with sale locations and businesses offering food and drink specials can be picked up at Birchwood Cafe (3311 E. 25th St.), Crown Video and Tanning (2701 E. Franklin Ave.),
Seward Co-op and Deli (2823 E. Franklin Ave.), and Welna II Hardware (2201 E. Franklin Ave.). Or, if you have an iPhone, the iGarageSale app also has the information you need. Looking for more information? Check out the Seward Neighborhood Group's website at www.sng.org
