| Lacey Piotter, Anna Reichart, Alberta Mirais in "Troilus and Cressida": free at a park near you |
It may not have been a particularly balmy week, but the calendar doesn't lie: we're heading toward a stretch when an evening spent outside taking in a show might be just the thing. Currently there are two free, outdoor Shakespeare productions appearing in Twin Cities parks, where a blanket in the grass and a basket of goodies would presumably complete the scene.
The
Cromulent Shakespeare Company is staging a production of
Troilus and Cressida, Shakespeare's notably complex tragedy (with comedic elements) set against the classical backdrop of the Trojan War.
Here's the schedule for these free performances:
Friday June 18: Powderhorn Park, 7:00 p.m.
