This will be year 44 for Edina's art and family fair. Around 90,000 people are expected to show up, and they should find themselves sufficiently entertained. Over 350 artists will set up shop to sell their jewelry, pottery, paintings, crafts, and other items. Festival-goers can listen to performances from Charmin Michelle, Charlie Parr, Alison Scott, Lehto & Wright, and others. There will also be fashion shows, cooking demonstrations, a kids' art zone, and other familiar fair shenanigans. Free. 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

Love Never Dies

This international LGBTQ group show spans two gallery spaces and opened about a week ago. On Saturday both locations will celebrate love and art with a reception party from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Here you'll find photos, paintings, collages, and other pieces of art exploring themes including marriage, family, aging, generational shifts, and more--topics that are not only relevant to LGBTQ communities, but speak to the human experience as well.

The Talent Show

At this weekend's Talent Show, lovers of local wares will be able to check out work by around 50 artists, craft makers, and toy designers all in one place. Those who love Craftastravaganza and Craft-o-Rama may recognize a few vendors. Others will be completely new. Items for sale include the adorable stuffed animals of Fantastic Toys, floral-themed jewelry by Aprilierre, and highly-giftable soaps by Bodylish. Other crafts for sale include solid perfumes, original t-shirt designs, coasters made from vinyl albums, pottery, and canvas knapsacks with print art.
