Christopher Watson Dance Company: 9th Annual Dances at the Lakes Festival

One can never go too wrong with a free event. Walk over to the pavilion early for some ice cream and views of the Lake. Then head over to the Rose Garden for a free dance performance. For this year's show the Christopher Watson Dance Company will be collaborating with Kinetic Kitchen, Ray Terrill Dance Group, and Youth Dance Ensemble. Free. 7:30 p.m. Also Saturday.

This fashion show and party looks to be a good time. During the event there will be a multimedia runway show featuring fashion by Maritza Ramirez and Mackenzie Labine, and accessories by Kristin Berwald (Bionic Unicorn) and Jared Zachary (Freedom From Doubt). Time Squid and Jesse Draxler will entertain with live video art. Other performances include music by Camille Bourgerie, Alina Lindquist, and the Night. $5-$10; $20 VIP. 9 p.m.
Judy Garland Festival

During this three-day festival fans of the iconic actress will be able to enjoy film screenings (as well as never before seen footage), collector events, games, lunches, and tribute concerts at various locations. There will also be an exhibit featuring movie wardrobes, and a book signing with Lollipop Kid Munchkin Jerry Maren.
