"America's Got Talent" features local Danger Committee

​​Local jugglers, hurlers, and flingers of extremely sharp and hazardous objects Danger Committee appeared on NBC's America's Got Talent this week, impressing celebrity judges including Howie Mandel sufficiently to make the cut to the show's next round. 

Brave New Workshop artistic director Caleb McEwen indeed subjected himself to a good deal of danger, standing amid a flurry of nasty-looking blades, then making a surgical strike on an inflated surgical glove (video here). 

I have a little personal experience with McEwen's knife-throwing abilities, as evidenced in this 2008 photo (that's Dudley Riggs to my right, keeping me from fleeing the scene).
