| Barneys creative director Simon Doonan with Iggy Pop |
Legendary Stooges front-man Iggy Pop just partnered up with Barneys New York's little sister store, Barneys Co-op to design a line of vintage inspired rock tees for the store's Archive 1887 line. Mr. Pop is definitely a style icon in his own right, even if he usually wears little to no actual clothing.
The tees retail at $58 and feature images of the iconic star himself. The launch party for the line took place just last night in New York City at the Barneys Co-op in Chelsea. Check out the photos from the event after the jump.
Fashionista.com asked Pop if he will actually be wearing the tees. He responded, "I wear them in the morning when my A/C is too cold in my Ferrari. I always wear an
Iggy and the Stooges t-shirt." Ah, to be a rockstar.
