L'etoile to host Madras Plaid Summer Social at Om

L'etoile has partnered up with OM Restaurant (401 N. First St., Minneapolis) to celebrate summer style, and most of all the wondrous world of plaid. Madras plaid originated in the 1960s in India, so Om is the perfect locale to honor this playful pattern. Om will be serving its signature contemporary Indian cuisine, along with summer cocktails inspired by the print.

The event will take place on Thursday, July 22, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. And here's an extra motivator to attend the Madras Plaid Summer Social: There will be a best dressed contest which will award the plaid-clad guy or gal with an Om gift certificate and passes to the Guthrie Theater's upcoming play, The Scottsboro Boys. So break out your best plaids and head to Om for what is sure to be a fabulous way to spend a summer evening. Check out the Facebook event for more info.
