In an effort to encourage urban cycling, Nice Ride Minnesota was formed through the Twin Cities Bike Share Project. From April to November, bicycles will be available to rent 24 hours a day, seven days a week. In celebration of this project and to increase awareness, the non-profit organization is hosting a bike tour/scavenger hunt throughout the city, ending with a big bash at the Bedlam Theatre.
The ride runs from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Participants will have to be on a Nice Ride bike in order to compete. At each participating station cyclists will receive a stamp. After riders have collected as many stamps as possible, they should head over to the Bedlam Theatre for Tour de Nice happy hour specials and raffle prizes from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
