ENVISION Artopia: Fall 2010 lineup announced

​Fashionistas of Minnesota mark your calendars: ENVISION Artopia is set for Friday, September 17 at Graves 601 Hotel. The evening features fashion from designers and local boutiques, creative hairstyling, and live music. It also serves as a great ramp up to MN Fall Fashion Week, which kicks off a few days later.

The evening will feature 50 models from Ignite parading high fashion in two runway shows, with music by DJ Sheik and violinist Dani-Vi from Barcelona, Spain. Fall threads we're dying to see include efforts from Amanda Christine, Calpurnia Peach, Cliché, Project Runway's Christopher Straub, Drama, Karma, Kjurek Couture, Local Motion, and Tendercuts, among many others. Once again Rocco Altobelli will create the finishing touches on each model, styling their hair and makeup. Alice Sydow of Ivegotyourstyle.com will mastermind the overall look as wardrobe stylist.

Much like a gallery show, this is a juried event. A panel of celebrity judges (including CP's own Jen Boyles) will vote on their favorite lines, and the winner will receive a free fashion shoot highlighting their work. During the party there will also be a silent auction, with 100 percent of the proceeds benefiting breast cancer research group the Young Survival Coalition. Afterward, be sure to walk over to the Lounge Nightclub where the music and high-fashion partying will continue until 2 a.m.

Tickets to ENVISION Artopia are on sale now, and cost $20 pre-sale, $25 at the door. VIP tickets are $40 each, and include food and wine sampling, plus a coveted swag bag. Front row tickets get you hot seats and all of the above for $75. Tickets can be purchased online at www.envisionmpls.com.
