Comic Art: Lutefisk Sushi D

Now in its fourth edition, Lutefisk Sushi is a collection of 50 local comic artists. Contributors vary in style and tone--some may be funny, others political, others touching, and so forth. The opening reception from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. is part publication party, part gallery opening.

This weekend is the mega-art fest in Minneapolis. The Uptown Art Fair will be the biggest (and most crowded). Check out live music, art vendors both local and national, family activities, food, and other things to do throughout the day. Nice Ride Minnesota will be offering free valet parking for bikes, and the Metro-Transit will transport festival-goers to and from the three event locations (Sat-Sun only). 12-8 p.m. Friday; 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturday; 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday.
