With all the beauty Duluth has to offer, especially at the turn of each season, it is not surprising that it remains one of Minnesota's most-beloved destinations. So how nifty would it be to import the scenic views and beauty the city has to offer down here to the Twin Cities for a bit?

In a way, the Cult Status Gallery is doing just that, featuring art from up north with the opening of their new exhibit "Duluth! A Love Story" tomorrow night.

The exhibit features photography and paintings from five Duluth artists. The collection of work was inspired by Cult Status Gallery's own Erin Sayer, who once ran an art co-op called the Duluth Artists Guild.

Sayer is calling this exhibit her love letter to the artists of Duluth, and it surely showcases the talent flourishing near the North Shore. The opening reception will be free and open to the public, and will begin at 8 p.m. this Saturday night. Pieces on display will include bright and enchanting oil paintings from Chris Monroe, intriguing photos from Eris Vafias, and more.

Open through October 26, Duluth! A Love Story will be at Cult Status Gallery on 29th and Harriet Avenue South. The gallery hours are open by appointment.
