With the Twin Cities Book Festival comes a lot of free readings, including talks from Riot Grrrls, creative innovators, and mystery writers. It's also a good week for free shows involving thrash, metal, and other exceptionally loud and lively forms of music. Coincidence? We're not sure. Either way, you'll find something free to do in this list.
