Amy Rice offers free V-Day cards for download

​Local print artist Amy Rice is sending out sweets for her sweethearts a little early. She announced in a recent newsletter that she simply couldn't wait to release her winter gift to her fans: adorable, free Valentine's Day cards.

Who needs Cupid or Hannah Montana postcards when you can give bits of art featuring cupcake towers, heart forests, and lovers on two-seated bikes? The four cards are available for free download on her Flikr site. It's recommended that you use heavier paper stock when printing out images, so be sure to invest in some classy paper (or steal some from work).

Last year was a busy one for Rice. Not only did she relocate to a new studio in the California Building, but she was also featured on Minnesota Original, and was was number 96 on City Pages' 100 Creatives project.
