The St. Paul facility announced its 2011-2012 season last night. The theater lineup is topped off by touring productions of FELA! and Memphis, which combined won seven Tony Awards last year. Other shows announced for the upcoming season include an original production of Cinderella, the brand-new Blind Date, Frank Sinatra jukebox Come Fly Away, and the self-explanatory Addams Family.
Other pieces for the season feature the new Broadway Songbook,
which will highlight different composers and styles throughout the
year; the annual Flint Hills International Children's Festival; and, for
two nights only, the epic sing-a-long film version of the Sound of Music. The dance series features a number of guest artists and a return of popular local troupe, Ballet of the Dolls.
