| 2010 Comix Issue |
Imagine your life in the future. What's it like?
Give us your take (adding a local perspective doesn't hurt). The best will be selected to appear in print, and a certain number of additional honorable mentions will run online. Submissions should be created as true sequential art; a full story unto itself. Cartoonists are encouraged to be creative within the confines of the dimensions listed below. There are no restrictions on the number of panels or to the way they may be arranged.
Be sure to work within our half- or quarter-page sizes. If, however, you would like to propose a full-page comic, please do so. Find inspiration here in the online presentation of our 2010 issue.
Guidelines:
- No color
- You may use solid tones of gray to "color" your comic. Grayscale images should be 300 dpi. (Gray tones are best when they are separated by 15% of distinguishable difference, i.e., 15%, 30%, 45%, 60%, 85% grays.)
- Bitmapped black-and-white files should be no larger than 600dpi
- Submit your entry with
the following contact information:
- Your real full name
- The name you prefer to be credited in print
- Your website, if applicable
