1st annual Handmade Heartfelt Artisans' Fair
Yeti Records crew, Jake and Lisa Luck, will be taking over the Ballentine VFW, spinning their vintage vinyl while visitors meander through many unique, local vendors. A definite must-do at the fair will be "Trang and Amber's exceptional photobooth," in which visitors will have the opportunity to pose for photos with handmade mustaches.
|Witt & Lore|
Whittney and Lauren Kebschull of Witt & Lore like to re-purpose materials into scarves and jewelry. Their jersey-knit scarves are often embellished with giant buttons and fabric scraps; the necklaces they make are adorned with old keys and even small stones.
The Beez Kneez will also be there selling their raw, unprocessed, creamed honey products. Other one-of-a-kind vendor creations include bike accessories, woodwork, vintage LPs, and clothing.
The first annual Handmade Heartfelt Artisans' Fair, sponsored by Yeti Records and Peace Coffee, takes place on April 23 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Ballentine VFW (2916 Lyndale Ave. S., Minneapolis).
