This year was another critical success for the Coen brothers as their remake of True Grit received Oscar nominations and solid reviews from critics. But the duo never rest for long between hits. Variety recently announced that their next project will be a retro piece exploring the '60s folk scene in Greenwich Village.

Currently titled Inside Llewyn Davis, the tale reported to be loosely based on the career of Dave Van Ronk, a blues guitarist who had a heavy hand in the acoustic folk revival of the era. The brothers have penned an original script, and are set to direct and produce the flick.

Though no start date or casting have been announced Scott Rudin, who also collaborated on True Grit and No Country for Old Men, is set to produce the piece as well.
