Turf Club celebrates its new mosaic tonight

While several really cool murals have shown up on buildings around town this summer, the new artwork on the Turf's eastern wall is probably the only one that sparkles. That's because local artist Angela Talle used approximately half a million pieces of glass, mirror, and tile to create the huge mosaic. The Western-themed artwork, which covers 800 square feet and features cowboys and horses resting on the prairie, will have a party in its honor this evening.

This Monday, October 17 guests are invited to stop by the historic St. Paul club for a dedication ceremony and celebration. The event will include a square dance featuring Pop Wagner and old-time country band the Cactus Blossoms.
We've got some sneak-peek images after the jump.
