What to Where: LEN, Rock the Garden, Joe's Garage

With bands like Doomtree and Trampled by Turtles on the lineup, it's no surprise that this year's Rock the Garden sold out in an hour. The daylong concert fest, put on by the Walker Art Center and 89.3 the Current, has made a name for itself as a great place to catch up with friends in the sunshine (or rain) while jamming out to some live tunes.

Although Rock the Garden isn't quite Coachella, that doesn't mean you can't get inspired by all the creative energy and dress the part. Fashion enthusiasts love a great music festival as it's the perfect event for pushing your style comfort zone.
With new arrivals in almost daily, LEN is the perfect place to create an eclectic look that works for a music fest. The shop approaches fashion with a perfect mix of affordability, sought-after trends, highly knowledgeable sales associates, and a wide variety of merchandise. Family owned and operated, LEN has continued to progress the value of "fast fashion" -- clothing that is affordable and on-trend.

If you're contemplating making a trip to one of their four locations but want to check what they have in stock beforehand, you can find them on Facebook or Twitter where they constantly update their feeds with new items, sales, and events. The staff has been known to go out of their way to save a favorite item if you absolutely cannot live without it and are concerned about getting to the store it's snatched up.

After a day of dancing, laughing, and running up and down the grassy hill outside the Walker, head on over to Joe's Garage in Loring Park. You can't go wrong with an establishment that has a Frank Zappa reference incorporated in their name, right?

Their menu is all over the place (in a good way) and our favorites include the Jamaican jerk wings, chèvre lamb burger, and the mouth watering spicy cream cheese egg rolls. Added bonus: They have one of the best rooftop patios in Minneapolis. So grab your buds, a cocktail, and take in the gorgeous views of our little metropolis.
