MNfashion announces dates, events for Minneapolis-St. Paul Fashion Week

MNfashion brings high fashion to the Twin Cities this fall

As is tradition, events begin with the notorious Envision bash, featuring high fashion on the runway, live art, dance beats, and glamor at the Graves 601 Hotel. Also on the schedule is MNfashion's The Shows, a series of parties featuring a handful of local designers each night. This year's program has been expanded to three evenings at the Grain Belt Bottling House, and features spring/summer collections from great designers like Emma Berg, Christopher Straub, ArielSimone, Samantha Rei, Lindsey Hopkins, Nicole Larson, MAI, and Marissa Bridges. The organization's showcase event featuring emerging designers will also be returning.

Fashion week will also host some smaller and quirkier events, including a vintage-inspired showcase at Blacklist Vintage; the Mexico Magico Fashion Show, presented by UTKU Fashion and the Mexican Consulate; and Full Fashion Panic, an awesome catwalk party celebrating cosplay, steampunk, and Lolita looks in Japanese fashion that serves as the kick-off party for School Girls and Mobile Girls conference at MCAD.
