The Vikings punter nearly blew up the internet in early September when he penned the open letter to Maryland Delegate Emmet Burns Jr., obliterating the democrat for scolding the coach of the Baltimore Ravens after linebacker Brendon Ayanbadejo publicly advocated for same-sex marriage.
"I can assure you that gay people getting married will have zero effect on your life," wrote Kluwe. "They won't come into your house and steal your children. They won't magically turn you into a lustful cockmonster."
Kluwe later wrote a G-rated version of the letter, snarkily calling Burns a "Beautifully Unique Sparkle Pony."
Tracy Call, founder of Minnesotans for Equality -- one the primary groups opposing the upcoming anti-gay marriage amendment -- says people have been asking them to make shirts since the letters were published.
"We were just getting tons of requests for it," she says. "People were saying, 'You've got to make a T-shirt, these are hysterical quotes.'"
Call worked with Kluwe to pick out the most captivating excerpts from the letter.
"I don't even know if they're adjectives or nouns," she says.
