SooVAC to curate a pop-up shop this holiday season

In a matter of weeks folks will be hitting the malls and online stores in search of the perfect gift. For those who like to shop local and give unique presents, this season will boast one more opportunity to do so as the Soo Visual Arts Center is planning to set up a pop-up shop in Nicollet Avenue.

The shop will be located south of the Lyn-Lake Gallery at 3506 Nicollet Avenue South, right between Pat's Tap and Honeycomb Salon. Here, folks will find paintings, prints, jewelry, pottery, knitwear, and other fun gifts for sale by local artists. Participants include Jennifer Davis, Richard Barlow, Jamie Carrerra, Erin Currie, Amy Rice, Joan Vonderbruggen, Alex Kuno, Squared Furniture, and many more.

The shop will be open Saturday, November 17 through Monday, December 24. Hours are 4 to 8 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays, and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.
