This weekend, Envison: Artopia showed off spring and summer collections from some of the Twin Cities' hottest designers and boutiques. In lieu of ultra cutting-edge innovation coming down the catwalk, there were plenty of wearable trends that could easily be at home on Minneapolis sidewalks this summer. We broke down the night into some of the hottest styles we saw on the runway for you.

Hello, it's almost summer, and that means it's time to show off some skin.
Lindsey DeWitt used the uber-trendy crop top in several looks in her collection. The most successful of the bunch was a metallic teal bralette paired with a matching pencil skirt, reminiscent of similar styles recently seen on Selena Gomez and Katy Perry.
Whites & Blues
Forget red... white and blue are in this summer.
Russell Bourrienne's entire line consisted of variations of whites and blues (from powder to royal) matched up for a downright cool and nautical vibe to beat the summer heat. Kjurek's piece de resistance
was a lovely cerulean maxi dress featuring leather wrap-ties at the waist and a matching leather strip down the back.
Throughout many of the collections, white pants, shorts, skirts, and dresses popped on the catwalk. Roe Wolfe, Lindsey DeWitt, and MAI embraced white as a staple in their collections, too.
snow showers bring May flowers: a perennial theme true in nature and fashion.
Roe Wolfe embraced pops of color with lots of neutral-hues, but where the boutique really excelled was their head-to-toe floral look. The outfit combined bold floral bottoms with a more subdued crème floral, sleeveless button down for a very classic spring-summer look.
Last year's maxi-dress trend has shifted to hemlines inching up above the knees for a classic girly look perfect for warm weather days.
Marissa Bridges presented a bright pink skater dress with a floral bib for a girly-chic look while Cliche showed off their own edgier version of the dress with black tulle and galaxy print.
Sometimes you need a little sunblock that doesn't involve sunscreen or SPF...
MAI started out the first portion of the runway show with a stunning purple and black hooded athletic shirt. Kora Gleason followed up with several pieces in her collection also featuring hoods, including a beautiful piece with a gathered hood draped on the back.
