Primp is fast becoming a local chain that fashionistas on a budget can get behind. The self-proclaimed "cheap-chic boutique" sells dresses, paints, tops, scarves, basics, jewelry, and other accessories for less than $100 (many items even go below $50). The business model has been a fast success, as owners Michele Henry and Wesley Uthus recently added a third shop in White Bear Lake to its roster. Related stories:

The new location, located at 4644 Banning Avenue in White Bear Lake, opened earlier this month. This Wednesday, from 6 to 9 p.m., the boutique will be throwing a grand opening celebration, which will also feature the launch of its updated website
. Folks are invited to stop in, drink some wine, and check out summer merchandise.
