Go to T-Wolves ladies' night, score a Girls DVD
|The gang at a warehouse party in season 1|
Regardless of the reasoning behind the deal, it's one of the more random female-friendly specials out there: Folks who purchase the Ladies Night Out T-Wolves ticket package will receive season one of HBO's hit (and yes, divisive) series.
For those who don't really watch TV, or don't have premium cable: Girls follows the lives of four twenty-something women as they try to find themselves and make their way in New York City. If that sounds a little cliche and twee, don't worry; the show is filled with plenty of really bad NYC fashion, accidental recreational crack use, and awkward dialogue which keeps it from being too cookie cutter.
The series kicked off to rave reviews in 2012, and is produced/written by Lena Dunham (who also stars) and Judd Apatow. Season three premieres January 12, and they have a lot of explaining to do, as many viewers felt like the second half of season two was a hot mess.
The Minnesota Timberwolves are a professional basketball team that was founded in 1989 and is owned by Glen Taylor. They currently play at the Target Center in downtown Minneapolis.
Ladies' Night Out dates are November 16, January 10, February 19, and March 26. Tickets are pre-sale only, and can be purchased at www.nba.com/timberwolves/ladies.
